Is Jesus The One

Is Jesus The One?

We all make choices in our life. Where do I go to school? What career do I choose? Who do I marry? Where do I settle down?  These are all important life choices that we usually think about carefully before making a decision.

Now let us think about this choice for a moment: Which God do I worship? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Or have your parents already made that choice for you when you were born? We question everything else in our life but when it comes to our God or our religion, we barely ask any questions. Most of us just accept the fact that the religion we were born into is the right religion and the God that we worship is the right God, at least for us that is.

Did you know that there are more than 4300 religions in this world and more than a million gods? So where does that leave us, if everyone thinks their religion is right and their God is the right choice?

If we are all part of the same human race then why do we have so many religions and so many Gods? Why do some religions work for certain groups of people but not for others? How are all these Gods from all these religions coexisting together? Which God is the real one and which God is fake? Which religion is right and which religion is wrong? Is there more than one way to God? Is God the same but people call him different names? Is there even a God? Where are all the Gods in all of this? Do all the Gods come together once a year to discuss how to increase their followers? Are you better of just being an atheist? That way you don’t have to pick and choose from all these conflicting religions and their Gods.

Now, what if there was only one universal God? Would we have the same problem? If you found out that there is a universal God that works for everyone would that change the way you think or feel about your current religion? Or would you continue worshipping the God that your parents said you should worship?

We as humans ultimately pick the God that we want to worship. You might have been influenced by those around you but it is still your own personal choice.  Whether or not the God that you picked, actually exists in reality and works for you is something for you to decide. If you do not believe in God altogether, that is also your choice.

However, if you are in the market, looking for a universal God, a God that is guaranteed to work for you, irrespective of your caste, creed or religion then let me point you in the direction of someone named “Jesus Christ!”. If you want a God that will change your life and you can have a personal relationship with you, then you cannot go wrong with Jesus.

The Bible says that “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son(Jesus Christ) that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” When the bible says ‘whosoever’ that means all of mankind. No matter what religious background or belief system you currently belong to, Jesus Christ came for you. This is the universal God that you might have been looking for.

When Jesus came to Earth around 2000 years ago, every person on earth was faced with a choice. Do they accept Jesus as a universal God or go back to their current beliefs which may or may not have worked for them? It was a choice that people had to make back then and it is the same choice that people have to make now.

There are a lot of things said and written about Jesus Christ. If you ask 10 different people you will get 10 different answers on who Jesus is? No matter what you have heard, people just can’t stop talking about him. Was there really something to this Jesus? Was He really God himself? If He was God then what does it mean for you? That is a choice you have to make for yourself? You will never know until you find out on your own.

I can keep talking about Jesus but that will only mean that I am telling you who I think He is. So I am just going to let Jesus talk about himself, in his own words.

Jesus said the following:

  • “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
  • “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
  • “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
  • “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
  • “I came so that you may have life, and may have it abundantly”
  • “Come to me all you are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest”
  • “I will never leave you nor forsake you”

These are Jesus Christ’s direct quotes from the bible. If you give Jesus a chance, I promise you He will change your life. All you have to do is say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. Jesus will never force you to accept him. This is a personal choice between you and Jesus. No religion involved. No outer influence, No missionary forcing you to convert. This is between you and Jesus. The choice has always been yours.

There is a Universal God that works for all of us. He has been there since the beginning of time and He cares for all of us.

The only choice that you have to make now is this: “Is Jesus The One?”

God Bless!
